I'm a Peer Support Specialist, Educator, Researcher, Speaker, and creator of the NvsN (Nature vs Nurture) System—a framework for understanding ourselves, what shapes us, and how we relate to ourselves, one another, and the world around us.
My work is rooted in lived experience. Having navigated childhood adversity, chronic stress, workplace burnout, and fibromyalgia, I understand what it means to lose yourself in survival and what it takes to reconnect with who you truly are.
Part of what led me to create the NvsN System was recognizing that many of the challenges I faced were understandable responses to chronic stress, adversity, and unmet needs. Looking back, much of the burnout and illness I experienced may have been prevented—or significantly reduced—had those needs been recognized and addressed earlier, both in life and in the workplace.
Over the past two decades, I have combined lived experience, formal training, research, advocacy, and peer support to bridge the gap between the lived and the learned. Rather than focusing on what's wrong with people, I focus on what has happened to them, what has shaped them, and the strengths they already carry within them.
That realization shaped my commitment to helping others feel seen, heard, and supported at every stage of the journey—from building resilience and preventing unnecessary suffering, to helping people reconnect with themselves and reclaim their lives after adversity, burnout, trauma, or crisis.
I believe we are all born creative and resourceful. Sometimes life disconnects us from that truth. My role is not to fix people, but to walk alongside them as they rediscover their strengths, nurture their inner nature, and move from surviving toward greater balance, connection, and well-being.
Because healing isn't about becoming someone else.
It's about remembering who you are, nurturing your inner nature, and embracing the journey of Living Well.
A holistic framework for understanding and transforming how we live, heal, and grow- moving from survival to living well.
Our innate strengths, instincts, and creative potential - the part of us that exists without explanation.
Where identity is in motion - the space where lived experience, reality and identity meet.
Everything the world has placed around and upon us - family, culture, systems, community, expectations.
Support that blends lived experience, professional training and compassion - partnership, perspective and possibility.
Personalized sessions that meet you where you are - helping you sort through stress, burnout or adversity while rediscovering your own strengths.
A supportive, community-based approach to healing and growth, where shared experiences remind us we're not alone.
Creative, practical tools - from mini manuals to video series - designed to guide self-discovery, balance and resilience.
Engaging workshops, talks and community consulting that bridge research with lived experience.
My credentials come from two equally important sources - formal training and personal journey. Both shape how I show up for those I serve.

When we understand this space, we understand ourselves. When we can map this space, we can reclaim ourselves.
